On February 2-4, the Rector of the Vasyl Stefanyk National University of the Carpathians, Ihor Tsependa, is participating in the 37th conference of the “Europe of the Carpathians” initiative in Krasiczyn (Republic of Poland). The slogan of the event is: “The Carpathians are the mountains that unite.”
Twice a year, the “Europe of the Carpathians” initiative gathers such experts as politicians, economists, diplomats, educators from the countries of the Carpathian region and is always used as an interesting and very useful platform for communication and exchange of ideas.
In 2012, at the Parliamentary Assembly of Poland and Ukraine in Yaremche, the “Europe of the Carpathians” conference announced and declared parliamentary support for the projects of the International Scientific Center “Observatory” of the Carpathian and Warsaw University on Mount Pip Ivan and the creation of the International Center for Meetings of the Ukrainian and Polish Student Youth in Mykulychyn.
