They looked into the future and felt like inventors

The students of COA-35 (subgroup 1) looked into the future and felt like inventors within the course “Basic Foreign Language (English)” (the lecturer – Associate Professor – Diana Sabadash). Performing the project “The Life Changing Inventions in the Near Future” students worked in teams and prepared two projects: “Smart House” and “Mind-Reading Robot”.

The “Smart House” project presents a smart home that promotes the preservation of natural resources. It is equipped with a remote sensory heating system and a lost things searching system.

The “Mind-Reading Robot” project is designed to help the elderly and the disabled. It presents a robot that has high intelligence, the ability to read minds and is programmed to perform human tasks.

In the process of preparing such projects, students develop analytical and creative thinking, the ability to work in teams, the ability to use industry-based terminology freely and effectively. They also learn more about the modern scientific achievements, the ways to overcome the global problem of natural resources overuse in the future, and the technical capabilities to help the disabled.
