Diana Sabadash

Diana Sabadash studied English Philology at the Foreign Language Department of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University in Ivano-Frankivsk (Ukraine) (2004–2009). She was awarded the scientific degree of Master of Philology (with Honors) and received the Qualification – “Philologist, Instructor of the English, German Languages and Foreign Literature”. After graduating from the university in 2009 started working as a University Lecturer teaching Medical English at the Linguistic Department of Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University and Practical Course of English and Practical Phonetics at the English Philology Department of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University.

In November 2010 she started working on her Ph.D thesis entitled ‘English Medical Terminology in Literary Communication: a Cognitive-Pragmatic Perspective’. The degree in linguistics was awarded in February 2014.

In March 2015 Diana Sabadash was promoted to an Associate professor at the English Philology Department, Faculty of Foreign Languages at Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University (Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine). The academic title of Associate Professor was received in 2019. She teaches Practical Course of English, Practical Phonetics, CLIL Methodology in English, Methods of English language teaching in the EFL classroom, and is a supervisor of master’s thesis works. Her research Interests broaden to Terminology, Cognitive Linguistics, Discourse Analysis, Pragmatics, Cognitive Pragmatics, Methods of Foreign Language Teaching.

The results of her research and methodological work are reflected in more than 29 publications and discussed on more than 18 conferences.
