On the 5 th and 6 th of April, 2023, fourth-year students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Daryna Sydoruk and Ihor Statsenko, under the guidance of associate professor of the English Philology Department Diana Sabadash and with the support of English language teachers Vira Roshyk and Andriy Oliynyk, held career orientation events in English and Ukrainian languages on the topic “My Plans for the Future” with students of the 9th grade of Roman Guryk Lyceum № 23.
In the entertaining and accessible mode students presented the Faculty of Foreign Languages, available academic opportunities, exchange programs, student life, shared their impressions, employment experience (Daryna Sydoruk works at Helen Doron Ivano-Frankivsk, Ihor Statsenko at Softserve IF while studying in the 4th year) and plans for the future. Pupils were also informed about soft and hard skills, which are actively developed in the process of studying at the faculty in order to build a successful professional future; were offered to take a test that makes it possible to determine current options of professions in accordance with personal preferences, priorities and inclinations; and were involved in team project work “My Plans for the Future”.
