On November 6, 2024, at a seminar within the framework of the author’s course by Associate Professor of the English Philology Department Diana Sabadash, titled “Using video materials in foreign language teaching and learning”, students of the group СОА-36 from the educational and professional program “Secondary Education (English Language and Literature)” presented their video blogs. The presentation was attended by students of the Ivano-Frankivsk Vocational College, accompanied by their English language instructors Tetiana Dyakiv, Oksana Matsapula, and Yuliia Remska. The guests were introduced to the course, which covered various types of educational video materials and their use in the English language lessons, the creation of presentations dedicated to teaching video materials and the prospects of using AI in their creation, the development of personalized educational materials using video resources, brainstorming ideas and strategies for their own educational video blogs for teaching English, and the production of videos based on chosen topics, including
the application of artificial intelligence technologies.
The students of group СОА-36 encouraged the guests to subscribe to the video blogs they had created for an interesting and engaging experience in learning English. During the event, Associate Professors of the English Philology Department Tetiana Marchuk, Nataliia Kuravska, Kateryna Fomin, and Diana Sabadash spoke about the university and introduced the students to the advantages of studying at the Faculty of Foreign Languages. The students of СОА-36, in turn, shared their impressions of studying at the faculty and encouraged the guests to join the strong community of the Faculty of Foreign Languages at Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University.
