The teacher of the Department of English Philology, Tatiana Petrenko, took part in the charity volleyball tournament, which was held on January 24, 2024 among university employees in order to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The competition was organized by the sports club “Nauka” together with the trade union committee of the employees of the Precarpathian National University and aimed at raising funds for the support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as improving the mental and physical state of the participants.
Five teams, which were formed from scientific and pedagogical employees of the university, as well as employees of the administrative and economic department, took part in the tournament.
Despite the fierce competition for prizes in the volleyball court, all participants were unanimous in the opinion that the main victory that we all strive for is the victory of Ukraine in the war.
The participants of the competition collected about 10,000 hryvnias, which will be transferred to the needs of the 79th Air Assault Brigade.
