Lecturers of the English Philology Department of the Faculty of Foreign Languages Nataliia Kuravska, Ella Mintsys and Diana Sabadash completed international internship “Estonia as Education Nation”, which took place within the framework of the MULTIED KA2 (ERASMUS+) project at Narva College of the University of Tartu (Estonia) from May 22 to May 26, 2023. During the internship, representatives of eight universities of Ukraine and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine had the opportunity to get acquainted with the peculiarities of the Estonian education system, with the legislative foundations of the country’s language policy, with the specifics of the process of full immersion in the language environment, with the approaches and strategies of language teaching in educational institutions of various levels in such cities as Narva, Tartu and Tallinn. The participants of the programme were engaged in lectures, discussions, presentations, and attended classes given in Estonian and English. Getting acquainted with innovative technologies that are integrated into the educational sector by modern IT companies was a significant value of the internship. The experience of Estonian education in encouraging the launching and development of start-ups is also noteworthy.
