Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University hosted the STEFANYK OPEN DAY: Univer&City. It brought together over 700 students from grades 9–10 of lyceums and schools in Frankivsk and the region.
The vibe of the event is a bright and unforgettable celebration of knowledge, communication, and inspiration, where learning, science, culture, and youth life merge in a drive.
The meeting with future students was moderated by Galyna Voloshchuk, Director of the Center for Professional Career and Education, Associate Professor of the Department of Philology of the Kolomyia Educational and Scientific Institute. She welcomed the guests of the university and wished them confidence in choosing a professional path, inspiration in their studies, and faith in their own strengths.
During the meeting, the students learned about the university as a real city of professions, got acquainted with the specialties that prepare specialists for the modern labor market, and talked with career counselors, teachers, and students.
The “Stefanyk Career Track” project is also being launched for our entrants. How exactly the university will help students find their career path was explained during the event by Nelya Dolynko, Deputy Secretary of the Admissions Committee and project coordinator. Also, everyone interested could receive career advice from her.
The guests felt how integrated the university is into the life of the city of Ivano-Frankivsk — both in its scientific and cultural space.
During the meeting, interesting quizzes and interactive games were held.
After that, everyone had the opportunity to visit the faculty that interested them the most and get to know the specialty that impressed them the most.
Each faculty presented its own interesting locations, master classes, and photo zones, creating an atmosphere of creativity and openness.
Univer&City is not just our new format, it is a philosophy of unity of education, city and future. Carpathian University has once again proven that it is an integral part of Ivano-Frankivsk, a center of intellect, inspiration and youth energy. It has a colorful palette of professions and is ready to share the brightest colors with our future students!
